The 12th Annual “I’d Rather Be in Tignal Fall Festival is set to take place tomorrow, November 10th in Tignal, Georgia.
The festival is sponsored by the North Wilkes Steering Committee. Carolyn Gammon, who is one of the Co-Chairs on the committee, runs down some of the activities that will be taking place.
“We have live entertainment all day, free bingo inside the gym, and we have an old photo display that we will set up”, said Gammon. “We are also selling memory bricks this year; those who want can have the person they want to be memorialized by having their names etched onto bricks.”
Gammon says that currently the committee has over thirty vendors committed to participating this year, and said that they will accept more vendors up until the end of today.
There is no admission to attend or to set up as a vendor. The festival begins at 10:00am and will last until 3:00pm.
