3rd Annual Christmas Toy Celebration Scheduled for This Friday

December 17, 2012

Coming up this Friday, the 3rd Annual Christmas Toy Celebration will be taking place in Elberton.

It is a toy distribution event, sponsored by the Concerned Men of Elbert County, to help benefit young girls and boys between the ages of two and ten.

In order to receive a toy, the child must be accompanied by an adult, and must be an Elbert County resident.

Those who wish to contribute toys can drop them off the day of the distribution at the Burke Street Community Center, or if you can’t make it this Friday, Elberton Police Chief Mark Welsh said they can hold onto a few toys at the police station.

The distribution will begin at 2:00pm, Friday, December 21st; monetary donations will also be accepted.
