In just over two weeks the TJ and Friends Foundation will be holding their 5th Annual Fall Ride against Cancer.
Steve Higginbotham, who is with the TJ and Friends Foundation, says things are going to be a bit different this year.
“We are going to do something different this year. We are going to wind up in Lincolnton, Georgia”, said Higginbotham. “They want to do a chili cook-off, which will start at 4:30pm, and will probably last until 9:30pm that evening.”
Riders can begin to gather at A&D Cycles on October 13th between 11:30am and 1:30pm to register. The cost per person to participate will be twenty five dollars, and included in that cost is all you can eat chili once the ride concludes in Lincolnton.
The ride will leave A&D Cycles at 2:00pm that Saturday. Higginbotham said that the event is not just limited to just motorcycles.
Also, the TJ and Friends Foundation will have a booth set up at this year’s edition of the Elbert 12-County Fair all week long. The fair begins on October 1st and lasts through October 7th.
