Nancy Seymour, who is the Executive Director of the Elbert Memorial Hospital Foundation, says team spots will fill up quickly.
“We have about 32 teams every year, and we are always sold out nearly two weeks ahead of time”, said Seymour, “We want to encourage anyone who is interested in entering a team, to go ahead and begin putting that team together.”
Seymour said that all money raised during the tournament goes towards carrying out the hospital’s mission.
“In the past seven years we have raised over $100,000; and the Johnson family has been so dear to us at the hospital. They requested that income earned would go towards carrying out the mission of Elbert Memorial Hospital”, said Seymour.
The tournament will be held at Arrowhead Pointe at Richard B. Russell State Park on Friday October 5th. The format will be a 4-Man Lauderdale with handicaps.
The cost is one hundred dollars per person, or four hundred for a team. Registration will begin at 11:00am, with a shotgun start to follow at noon.
