9th Congressional District Legislators Elect State Transportation Board Member

State Transportation Board Member Emily Dunn of Fannin County has been unanimously re-elected to a full five-year term by the state legislators of Georgia’s 9th Congressional District.

Ms. Dunn, who chairs the Board’s Property Utilization Committee, was first elected to the STB in 2011 to fill the remainder of an un-expired term.

Ms. Dunn, a Fannin native now residing in Blue Ridge.

She served on the Fannin County Board of Education from 2000 through 2010, including five years as its Chairperson; resigning as required by law upon her election to the Transportation Board.

Ms. Dunn earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from North Georgia College in Dahlonega.
