Elbert County Sheriff’s Office Receives Grant

The Elbert County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the acceptance of a $28,500 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety for the Elbert County Sheriff’s Department. The grant money does not require a match from the county, and the funds will go to new equipment and training for highway safety programs in Elbert County.
