The three victims in Thursday’s shooting incident are on the road to recovery.

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office first received a call of a shooting incident that occurred at 12:23pm on Thursday, January 03, 2013.

The shooting involved three white female victims, identified as 45 year old Veronica Woodall, 46 year old Marian Bing and 22 year old Jacklyn Carnn Stacks.

After the shooting a manhunt for Donnie Williams followed, where at the end, he turned a gun on himself. Williams would later succumb to his self inflicted injuries at an area hospital.

Woodall and Bing are still hospitalized at their respective area hospitals, and are both in stable condition. Stacks has been cleared to return home after receiving treatment for her injuries.

From information gathered by investigators, Elbert County Sheriff Melvin Andrews said the incident stemmed from a property dispute.

Several different agencies chipped in to bring Williams to custody, and Sheriff Andrews said he was grateful for the cooperation.

More details will be available as they are released.
