Blue Devils Eye Potential 3-0 Start in Region Play

October 11, 2013

Coming off a 37-20 win over Oconee County last Friday in the Granite Bowl, the Blue Devils look to improve to 3-0 in the region later this evening.

Making their way to the Granite Bowl this evening will be the Bulldogs of Morgan County out of Madison, Georgia.

Tonight’s game marks a tough three game stretch where the Blue Devils will face Morgan County, North Oconee, and Hart County.

Blue Devil Head Coach Sid Fritts says his team is going to have to be on edge these next few weeks.

“We’ve talked to our team the last three weeks, and have been pointing out the team that has won our region the last three years has been undefeated in region play”, said Fritts. “You can’t have a slip up, and Morgan County is a good enough football team that if you come in and don’t play well, you put yourself at a disadvantage.”

Kick-off tonight is scheduled for 7:30pm, and pregame coverage this evening will begin at 7:00pm on 105.3 WSGC with the Pinnacle Bank Pregame Show.
