Board of Education District 1 Representative Anderson Honored for Service

The Elbert County Board of Education held their monthly meeting and a very Special Recognition took place for BOE member Jason Anderson.

Anderson served for the Board from January 2009 to December 2012 and was presented a plaque for his time and effort as he served for the Board.

Superintendent Rick Higginbotham expresses his appreciation to Anderson and the rest of the board members.

“I thank you so much for your time and effort. Nobody understands the time and effort that this board puts in to our school system”, said Higginbotham. “I am so appreciative of the entire board for how much you care about what happens with the children of this community.”

In other matters, there was no vote was taken place in regards to the Mountain Education Center.
