With cooler weather beginning to set in, it marks the time for numerous local fall festivals to begin taking place.
One of the major fall festival events that take place in Elbert County is the annual Bowman City Fall Festival, which takes place on the town square in Bowman.
Bowman City Councilman and Special Events Coordinator Pete Gibbons talks about what is lined up for this year’s festival.
“We’ll have a full day of family fun activity beginning at 9:00am, and rolling until about 10:00pm”, said Gibbons. “We will have live entertainment, food, and a kid’s zone. So we will have something for the whole family all day and evening long.”
The festival will also feature music from The Common People Band, Borderline, and from local residents during Bowman Idol, which will also be held during the festival.
