The end of September is approaching, and that means that the annual Bowman City Fall Festival is right around the corner.
Taking place this weekend actually, Bowman Special Events Coordinator Pete Gibbons says they have a great entertainment lineup in store.
“Headlining the event will be the Bobby Compton Band, and we are very excited to have them come out and join us for the first time”, said Gibbons. “We have another performer from the Atlanta area coming out, Brandon Reese will be making his first trip to our area, and Lazarus Unwound will be playing as well.”
Also being held once again will be the Bowman Idol competition, where the best singers in Bowman will compete for a cash prize.
Those interested in participating in the fall festival should be able to do so, as Gibbons says they do have a few vendor spaces still available.
“We still have some very limited space available, we have some yard space spots and there might be a couple of spots on the square open”, he said. “If you give us a call or email us, we may be able to work you in.”
Yard sale spaces are ten dollars, arts and crafts spots are fifteen dollars, and yard sale spaces off of highway 17 are fifteen dollars.
To purchase a space, or to get more information about the upcoming festival, you can contact the Bowman Special Events hotline at (706) 567-0975 or email the group at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This weekend’s festival will begin on Saturday at 9:00am, running until about 5:00pm that evening.
