Brandon G. Langston, aka Iron Man

Yesterday afternoon Elbert County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested a Bowman man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday at the Royal Foods Store.

The suspect, 27 year old Brandon G. Langston of an Adams Circle residence, was arrested after a search warrant was executed at the residence. Inside the home, he was found with evidence that connected him to the robbery.

Elbert County Sheriff Barry Haston said that investigators were able to process forensic evidence at and near the scene of the robbery, which confirmed that Langston was the culprit at large.

Early Tuesday morning, Langston allegedly entered the store wearing an “Iron Man” mask, and then committed the robbery at gun point. He is currently being held at the Elbert County Detention Center, where bond is expected to be denied.
