City of Bowman Waits for DCA to Close Out Grant

February 20, 2013

The city of Bowman is closer to closing out on expected grant from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

Mayor Pamela Johnson said it’s vital for the grant to be closed out soon.

“We’re trying to close it out because the grant is in the amount of $50,000 and the city has a loan in the amount of $50,000”, said Johnson.

All the correct paperwork has been filled out and all criteria have been met by the city.

However, the city will still need to be paid a visit by the Department of Community Affairs before they will close out on the grant of fifty thousand dollars.
