Bowman City Councilman and Special Events Coordinator Pete Gibbons said the city wanted to have something to do for the kids.
“We got a lot of calls in the community to do something for the kids, so we thought it would be a great idea to put this type of event on for the kids in the community”, said Gibbons.
According to Gibbons, there will be no cost to attend the Halloween Bash, all you have to do is show up and have a great time. Gibbons said it should be a great event for those who want to have a family friendly time.
“We will have hay rides and costume contests for all ages. Kids and adults will actually come dressed in their costumes for a chance to win a prize. All of the business on the downtown square will be open and will have treats for the kids. So it should just be a fun day for the family in downtown Bowman”, said Gibbons.
The Bash will get underway on Saturday, October 27th, and will last from 3:00pm until 5:00pm that evening.
