Collins Elected for GA’s 9th Congressional District

Finally in the race for Georgia’s 9th Congressional District for United States Congress, Republican Doug Collins took on Democrat Jody Cooley.

Collins brought in a staggering amount of votes, claiming over 76% of the votes in the district, which came out to 190,455 votes. Cooley collected 24% of the total vote with 59,449 votes.

Republican Doug Collins will be the first elected congressman to represent Georgia’s newly formed 9th Congressional District come January.
