DeltAlert Test for Elbert County Scheduled Tomorrow at Noon

January 10, 2013

Elbert County’s new emergency notification system, DeltAlert, will be tested this week.

Chuck Almond, Elbert County emergency management director, said the new system is easy to use and will result in significant cost savings to Elbert County.

“Elbert County EMA (Emergency Management Agency) will initiate a test call on Friday, January 11, at 12 noon,” Almond said.

Those who do not receive a call or who want to be removed from the call list should access his or her account to make changes or contact Elbert County EMA.

Those who have not yet registered can do so at any time by visiting www.elbertcoes.org and clicking on the DeltAlert logo, calling Elbert County EMA, or stopping by the Elbert County Emergency Services center at 112 Mahoney Drive.

For more information, contact Elbert County Emergency Management Agency at (706) 283-2003.
