Early Voting for Aug 21st Run-off Opens Up Today

Early Voting for the run-off between Martha Zoller and Doug Colins will begin Wednesday at 8:00am in the Elbert County Registrars Office.

The voting will take place today, Thursday, and Friday. Polls will be open each day at 8:00am and will stay open until 5:00pm.

Absentee ballots will be automatically sent to those that gave a reason of elderly, disabled or military in the General Primary.

Only those who voted a Republican ballot, Non-partisan ballot or did not vote at all in the General Primary can you vote in the run-off.

All others wanting to vote Absentee will need to call the Registrars office at (706) 283-2012 or stop by and complete an application in the office. Applications must be back in the office by 3:00 Friday afternoon for the ballot to be processed out in a timely manner.

Election Day voting will be held on Tuesday, August 21, from 7am until 7pm at the voter’s assigned precincts throughout the county.
