Early Voting Still Going on in Elbert County

May 8, 2014

Eight days remain in Elbert County to vote early for the May primary elections.

In the primaries, there are no contested local races after the disqualification of Mr. Wayne Ward for the Elbert County Board of Education District Three seat republican race.

However, one local issue on the ballot is the proposed three quarter mill increase on Elbert County’s millage rate with the purpose for funding economic development.

In person early voting runs until May 16th, and the hours to vote early are from 8:00am until 5:00pm each of those days.

Early voting is being held inside the Elbert County Registrar’s Office located at the Elbert County Government Complex.

For more information or questions about early voting, you can contact the registrar’s office by calling (706) 283-2012.
