Two local governing entities will hold meetings at 5:30pm this evening in Elbert County.
The Elbert County Board of Commissioners will be holding their regular meeting for the month of March.
The commission will vote on the approval of a request by the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce for a one thousand dollar tourism expenditure from the Richard B. Russell Hotel/Motel tax collection.
That expenditure will be used to promote the FLW Fishing Tournament scheduled for April 6th.
Also, the Elbert County Board of Education will hold a work session this evening to go over items on the agenda for the board’s regular meeting coming up on next Monday.
As mentioned earlier, both of these meetings will take place at 5:30pm this evening, and both are open for the public to attend.
