EC Commission Looking Ahead to FY 2014 LMIG Funding

June 6, 2013

With the Fiscal Year 2013 Georgia DOT Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) funds already at work in the county, the Elbert County Commissioners are already planning what to do with FY 2014 LMIG funds.

County Administrator Bob Thomas is expecting to receive roughly the same amount of funding as the county did last year.

“If you’ll give me two roads, we will try and evaluate them and see cost estimates; we will probably get about the same amount of money this year as we did last year”, said Thomas.

He asked that the commissioners turn their respective lists in by July 1st of this year.
