EC Registrar’s Office Already Urging Citizens to Register to Vote for November Elections

Early voting for the November General Elections is still a couple of months away, but the Elbert County Registrar’s Office is already preparing for those elections.

Chief Registrar Charlotte Ward encourages Elbert County residents who are not registered to vote to do so by October 6th, because that is the deadline to be able to participate in the November election.

There are three local races on the ballot then, all three of which are for seats on the Elbert County Board of Commissioners.

Bobby Lee Vaughn (R) and Perry Rhodes (D) face of in District Two; Incumbent Kenneth Ashworth (R) and Donnie Saddler (D) are running for District Four; and Incumbent Freddie Jones (D) and Zeb Worley (R) are at it for District 5.

Applications for absentee ballots are already being accepted.
