A couple of local meetings are set to take place this evening in Elbert County.
The Elbert County Board of Education will convene for its regular meeting for the month of May.
Some big ticket items on the agenda include the guarantee of a maximum price on phase one of the high school renovations, Elbert County 4-H’s office relocation to the old Beaverdam Elementary school, and the approval of the upcoming year’s board meeting dates.
The meeting begins at 5:30pm this evening, and will be held in the board of education meeting room located off of Laurel Drive.
Also meeting this evening will be the Bowman City Council, who will be pulling double duty.
The council plans to hold both its work session and regular meeting this evening.
The work session begins at 6:00pm, with the regular meeting to follow at 7:00pm.
Bowman City Hall will be location of both the work session and the regular meeting.
Members of the public are invited to attend both the Elbert County Board of Education’s meeting and the Bowman City Council’s.
