EC Sheriff’s Offers Free Service for Seniors or Disabled Persons

June 13, 2014

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free service.

“Are You Okay?” is a service being offered at no charge for seniors or physically challenged citizens who live alone.

The program allows those who fit the description mentioned previously to remain independent by being placed on a call list to receive a check-up call at the time of their choosing.

To sign up, forms can be picked up in person at the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office during their regular office hours Monday thru Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm.

For more information about the program or how to sign up, you can contact Sergeant Angie Dye at the Sheriff’s Office by calling (706) 283-2421.
