A string of three separate thefts were reported over the weekend in Elbert County in the Hamp Brown Road area.
According to a report, on Friday, October 19th, the first of the three thefts involved a stolen vehicle, which was valued at five thousand dollars. Then on Sunday, October 21st, a four-wheeler valued at over two thousand dollars was stolen. To top it all off, the owner’s home was also burglarized that same day.
In total, well over seven thousand dollars worth of property was stolen. According to the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, there is possibly a connection between these three incidents.
At this time the investigation is on-going.
