ECSO Arrest Man Responsible for Burglary on Sweet City Road

An Elbert County man is still behind bars after being arrested on burglary charges.

According to Elbert County Sheriff Melvin Andrews, between the dates of 9/30/2012 and 1/9/2013, a granite business was burglarized at a Sweet City Road address, where just shy of fifty-six thousand dollars worth property was taken.

On Wednesday, Elbert County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 58-year-old Charles William Wicker of a Sweet City Road address.

Wicker is charged with burglary in the 2nd degree and is awaiting bond at the Elbert County Detention Center.
