A shaky start this year for the Elbert County Blue Devils may have had a few fans worried, as the Blue Devils headed into region play this year with a 1-2 record.

Fear not though, as the Blue Devils snag have won three straight since starting region play, the most recent victim were the Morgan County Bulldogs.

A pair of quick touchdowns early on by Zac Allen and Boochie Reid gave the Blue Devils a two touchdown advantage in the contest.

The game broke wide open after an 80-yard touchdown pass from Mecole Hardman to Marquez Dye.

Not to be outdone, Hardman put the game out of reach for the Bulldogs as he scored the Blue Devils next touchdown.

Final score of the game Blue Devils 40 Morgan County 0.

With the win the Blue Devils improve to 4-2 on the season and to 3-0 in region play.
