Later this evening the Elbert County Board of Commissioners will hold their regular monthly meeting for the month of October.
Originally scheduled for October 8th, the board decided to move the meeting date back a week due to Columbus Day conflicting with the original date.
During this evening’s meeting, the commission is expected to hear from Richard Dobbs and Sean Read from ABM Building Solutions, who will give a presentation on energy solutions and savings for the Government Complex, Detention Center, and Courthouse.
Also, the commissioners are expected to accept a $28,500 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety for the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office.
The meeting will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Government Complex beginning at 5:30pm. The meeting is open for the public to attend.
