Elbert County Development Authority Discuss Method of Bringing a New Building to Industrial Park

September 18, 2012

During yesterday’s Elbert County Development Authority meeting, the Development board discussed the possibility of clearing forty acres of land in the Industrial Park.

The discussion of the clearing of that land led to a brief presentation from Dave Heydinger about how the authority could approach possibly erecting a new building in the Industrial Park.

The rough draft of the building presented mapped out close to nine thousand square feet of office space, and over eighty thousand square feet of warehouse space. The plans presented also included up to sixty thousand square feet of possible expansions to the building.

The discussion that took place in regards to a new building was simply that, discussion. There are still several steps that need to happen before a new building in Elberton’s Industrial park can become a reality.
