In lieu of wintry weather Friday night, the Friday match-up scheduled against Franklin County was pushed back to this coming Saturday, February 2nd.
With that taken care of, the focus of the Blue Devil basketball team shifted to Morgan County.
The varsity girls took the floor first taking on a depleted Morgan County girl’s team, who was without their leading scorer heading into the contest.
The Lady Devils came off the blocks fast and held a 22-12 lead at the half. Out of the break, the Lady Devils didn’t let off the accelerator, as they added 36 points in the 2nd half, in route to a 58-30 victory over the Lady Bulldogs.
Leading scorer for the game was Cyiarra Hill with 19 points, followed closely by Bri Moon with 15. Cyiarra Hill was chosen as the Tri-County Technical College Player of the Game.
With the win the Lady Devils improve to 17-4 Overall and 9-1 in region play.
