A Friday afternoon traffic stop lands a Dewy Rose man behind bars on numerous drug related charges.
According to the incident report, a traffic stop for speeding was conducted on Deep Creek Road just north of Dewy Rose Road.
The vehicle’s driver, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Lunceford of a Nickville Road residence, was arrested as a result of the stop.
Lunceford faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Crossing Guard Line with Controlled Substance, and Speeding in Excess of Maximum Limits.
Lunceford was transported to the Elbert County Detention Center after his arrest.
It is unknown if bond has been set or posted.
