Elbert County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Third Suspect in Commercial Burglary

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in connection with a commercial burglary and a third individual is being sought in the burglary.

In a press release, Elbert County Sheriff Barry Haston said that a burglary was reported on September 4th at Granite Resources Corporation on Old Hartwell Road.

Investigators arrested 17 year-old Wesley Fleming of a Seaboard Street address, and 20 year-old Austin T. Cleveland of a Rock Branch Road residence. Both were arrested on charges of 2nd Degree Burglary.

Deputies are looking for a third person on an outstanding warrant for Burglary, and that person is 37 year-old Chance Wade Franklin. He is described as a white male, and is approximately 5’11, and weighs 155 pounds.
