Elbert County Woman Facing Drug Trafficking Charges

An Elbert County woman is still behind bars at the Elbert County Detention Center facing drug trafficking charges.

Investigators with the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office carried out a search warrant around 2:00am on Tuesday, April 1st at a Brown’s Bridge Road address in Bowman, GA.

“During the search warrant executions, Pam Hill age 36, from Elbert County was found in being in possession of a trafficking amount of crystal meth along with scales and baggies, says Terry Reese.”

Investigator Lt. Terry Reese says the search turned up roughly three thousand dollars worth of crystal methamphetamine.

“The crystal meth amount that was ceased from Hill was approximately three ounces, which has a street value of approximately $3,000. The Elbert County K-9 Dixie alerted on Hill’s vehicle and a quantity of crystal meth was ceased from the vehicle and the vehicle is now going through forfeiture proceedings, Says Reese.”

Hill has been charged with Trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Crossing Guard Line with Contraband.

Another individual, 34-year-old Timothy Horne of a Royston address, was also arrested during the search warrant.

Horne however is only facing a charge of Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer.

Both Hill and Horne were taken to the Elbert County Detention Center after being arrested, where both remain in custody.

Bond has been set at $1,000 for Horne, and at this time an amount has not been set for Hill.
