Elbert Memorial Posts $45,000 Loss for July

August 29, 2012

Last night the Elbert Memorial Hospital Authority met for their regular meeting.

During the meeting, the financial report was presented to the board. The report showed that operating expenses decreased by roughly $16,000 from June to July.

Despite the decrease in operating expenses, the hospital still posted a loss of $45,000 in net revenue for the month of July.

The deductions in revenue were greater than June because the Hospital received the annual Indigent Care Trust Fund Payment of $177,000 in the month of June.

Also, the hospital’s cash position fell slightly from $862,000 to $796,000 in July.
