A better month financially for the Elbert Memorial Hospital, at least compared to the month of September.

In September, Elbert Memorial experienced an operating loss of three hundred and one thousand dollars, but the deficit was cut by over half in the month of October; as the hospital reported an operating loss of one hundred and sixteen thousand dollars.

According to the financial report, operating expenses remained stable at nine hundred and eighty thousand dollars. Contractual adjustments and bad debts played a factor in the operating loss for Elbert Memorial in the month of October.
