Elbert Theatre’s Final Show of 2012 Open This Evening

November 30, 2012

Sheridan Whiteside is set to cause all sorts of mayhem for the Stanleys.

Opening night for Encore Productions’ final show of the year is tonight!

The show is a comedy called The Man Who Came to Dinner, which is set in the 1930’s and is based on real-life celebrities of that time period. The play is directed by Toni King.

Tickets for the event are ten dollars in advance, and fifteen dollars at the door. Group and student tickets for the show are eight dollars.

King said this is a type of show that people will want to watch again.

“I call it a witty show, because most of the humor is coming from what is actually being said”, said King. “You might want to come and watch it more than one time, because you might miss something funning because the show is very fast paced.”

Opening night is this evening at the Elbert Theatre, and the show will begin at 7:30pm. Shows are also scheduled for Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:30pm.

For more information about the show, or to purchase advance tickets, contact the Elbert Theatre Box Office at (706) 283-1049.
