Elberton City Council Places Ordinance 2181 on First Reading

The Elberton City Council  approved a representative to vote on behalf of the city of Elberton on the Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia’s Election Committee.

The council approved a resolution to name Elberton Mayor Larry Guest as the voting delegate, with Lanier Dunn being named as the alternate voting delegate.

 

In other matters, the council did indeed place Ordinance 2181 on first reading.

The purpose of the ordinance is to amend Chapter 6 of the Buildings and Building Regulations of the Code of Ordinances.

The ordinance is expected to be adopted during the council’s regular meeting in June.
