An Elbert County man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on Burglary charges.

Elbert County Sheriff Barry Haston said that a woman came home and found a man inside her home.

“Deputies responed to a burglary on September 18th on Calhoun Road after a home owner returned home with her infant child and found an individual inside her home placing items in a bag”, said Sheriff Haston. “It was determined the suspect had gained entry through a rear door.
