Elberton Police Investigating South Oliver Street Burglary

Investigators with the Elberton Police Department are looking into a Friday burglary that occurred at a South Oliver street address.

The victim reported that a variety of medications had been stolen from the residence.

According to police reports, the victim said all medications were accounted for as of 8:00am that morning, and that the burglary must have happened between 9:15am – 12:15pm that day.

In total, the stolen medications were valued at just under seven hundred dollars.

In the police report, the victim stated that the doorknob on the back door to the residence had been pried off, and that access must have been gained through that door.

At this time, the investigation into this case continues by the Elberton Police Department.
