Elberton Police Investigating Two Local Thefts

The Elberton Police Department is investigating two thefts that occurred on Thursday and Friday of last week.

The first of the two thefts took place on Thursday at an Oak Street address where the victim reported that someone had stolen two televisions, as well as a laptop. The estimated value of the items stolen was said to be $1,500.

The second theft occurred at an Elberton business, where the management reported that a large theft had occurred at their store. Approximately $2,700 worth of items was stolen from the business.

Both of these cases were turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Elberton Police Department, where the investigations are ongoing in the two incidents.
