The two week stretch of Main Street Elberton’s “One Way to Thursday” street dance concludes this evening.
Tonight the event features the band Borderline, who according to Main Street Director Sissy Herring; plays a wide variety of music.
“They play all sorts of music. You are going to be entertained, so don’t miss out on this concert. They play songs from Adele, Linda Ronstadt, a few Elvis Songs, Patsy Cline, and Nora Jones. A wide variety of music is what they play, so don’t miss this”, said Herring.
The weather forecast for tonight is looking good for the event, as there is only expected to be a few passing clouds, and lows are expected to drop down into the mid 40’s. So if you plan on heading out be sure to dress accordingly.
Herring says that they will be catering to those who would like to eat prior to the event.
“There is no cost to attend, as we try to make all our events free to the public”, said Herring. “We encourage you to come downtown and eat supper, we will have tables set up so you can eat your meal and enjoy the fall weather as well.”
“One Way to Thursday” gets started at 7:00pm, and will conclude around 9:00pm. There is no cost to attend the street dance.
