The Georgia Department of Transportation will hold its final public meeting to seek public review and comment on its federally funded projects this evening.

The public forum will begin promptly at 5:00pm, and will last until 7:00pm.

The STIP is designed to achieve Georgia’s transportation goals of improving the mobility of people and movement of goods across the state, expand Georgia’s role in commerce, and reduce injury and loss of life on state roadways.

Northeast Georgia counties included in the STIP include Elbert, Franklin, Hart, Jackson, Stephens, and Banks Counties amongst others.
