Tonight the final weekend of performances for the final show of the 2013 Encore Productions season at the Elbert Theatre takes place.
Directed by Ray Stowers, A Christmas Pudding concludes Encore Productions’ 2013 performance season.
Elbert Theatre Director Toni King explains the show follows the format similar to a holiday variety type of show.
She talks about some of the different elements that those viewing the show will notice.
“Like Silent Night, pieces of Gifted of the Magi, there’s a dance from the Polar Express and the hot chocolate song, and dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy. It’s all stuff that people would recognize, but it’s just snippets of those shows it’s not the entire thing. So it should be a lot of fun, says King.”
The performance dates for A Christmas Pudding are tonight, tomorrow, and on Sunday.
Tonight and Saturday’s shows begin at 7:30pm, and the Sunday show as usual is scheduled for 2:30pm.
Ticket prices are the same as they have been; ten dollars in advance, fifteen at the door, and eight dollars for student and group tickets.
To purchase advance tickets or to get more information on the show you can contact the Elbert Theatre Box Office at (706) 283-1049.
