Four Arrested in Drug Bust

Four individuals were arrested Thursday afternoon after a surveillance operation that had been ongoing for several months.

Elbert County Sheriff Barry Haston said that Deputies encountered the individuals on Jaudon Road. During a search, multiple bags of suspected methamphetamines, scales, and individual bags of Oxycontin and Hydrocodone tablets were located.

Investigators have charged 29 year old Jeremy Nucklos with Poss. of Methamphetamines with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects, possession of schedule two drugs with intent to distribute, possession of schedule three drugs with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Also arrested in the incident was 25 year old Charles Clayton Rousey of Elberton, 37 year old Ricky Nelson of Lincolnton, and Misti Moore age 35 of Tignal.

A bond is expected to be denied on Nucklos, as he was already out on bond.
