Franklin County Native Named Georgia DOT Maintenance Foreman

The Georgia Department of Transportation announced that James “Bradley” Veal, a Franklin County Native and Carnesville resident, is now Georgia DOT’s Highway Maintenance Foreman for the Interstate 85 – Jackson County Maintenance Crew.

Veal has worked with DOT since 2005. He has served in the Maintenance Division throughout his entire career.

As Highway Maintenance Foreman for Interstate 85 in Jackson County, Veal will work to ensure mobility through preventative maintenance, crash clean-up, and damage repairs. He is responsible for all lanes of state routes and Interstate 85 in Jackson County. He began this new position at the beginning of October.
