So far, 2014’s gas prices mirror those at the start of last year.
At this time last year, the nation’s average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.30, where it stayed until February.
Then, pump prices rose upwards of $3.80 a gallon.
The cost for gas ranged between $3.50 and $3.80 until mid-September, when it dropped below $3.30 again.
The national average for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline is $3.29, 2 cents less than last week.
Georgia’s average of $3.22 rose 1-cent from last week respectively.
In Elbert County, according to Motortrend.com, the low price for regular unleaded gasoline is holding steady at $3.17 a gallon.
