The Georgia Department of Transportation announces its maintenance plans for this week in Elbert, Hart and Madison Counties.
In Elbert County, crews will patch damaged asphalt on State Route 320. The work will require a lane closure to complete. On State Routes 172 and 72, there will be crews cleaning and hand sweeping.
In Hart County, more damaged asphalt will be patched on the State Route 17 Bypass, as with the work in Elbert County, a single lane closure will be required. Two more crews will repair ditches along State Routes 328 and 8.
And in Madison County there will be a crew doing guardrail maintenance on State Route 106.
Lane closures and flagmen may be utilized in the previously mentioned work, so motorists are asked to use caution and reduce speed in these and all work zones that they encounter.
