Georgia DOT Performs Maintenance in Lincoln and Wilkes Counties

Along with maintenance plans in Elbert and surrounding counties, the Georgia Department of Transportation will be performing routine maintenance in Lincoln and Wilkes Counties.

In Lincoln County, crews will complete roadway shoulder maintenance to reclaim right of way and will also carry out litter pick up along State Routes 79 and 43.

In Wilkes County, crews there will also be doing roadway shoulder maintenance to reclaim right of way on State Route 10.

Work will last from 8:00am through 4:00pm up until Thursday, February 21st.

A single lane closure and/or flagmen may be used for this work.

Motorists should use caution, reduce their speed, and be alert to changing traffic conditions in these and all work zones.
