Georgia DOT crews wrap up some routine maintenance in Elbert and surrounding counties today.
In Elbert County, crews will finish up filling in cracks in the asphalt on State Route 72.
In Hart County, ditch restoration work should conclude for the week along State Route 51.
Finally, in Madison County, hand sweeping of the intersections on State Routes 281, 172, and 72 should conclude today as well.
Work begins at 7:00am and will end around 5:30pm this evening. Motorists should use caution, reduce speed, and be alert to changing traffic conditions in these and all work zones encountered while traveling.
