The Georgia congressional delegation split along party lines Tuesday night when the House of Representatives voted on the fiscal cliff bill.

All of the Republicans voted against it, while all of the Democrats who were present voted for it. Representative John Lewis, an Atlanta Democrat, whose wife died earlier this week, did not vote.

The two members of Congress whose districts include parts of northeast Georgia – Tom Graves and Paul Broun were among the Republicans voting in opposition.
