Tomorrow, November 3rd, the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce, Elberton Granite Association, and Main Street Elberton will partner up to put on the annual Granite City Fall Festival.
There will be plenty to do for the family, and Chamber President Phyllis Brooks says that the 4-H area is one of the more popular parts of the festival.
“There are a lot of things for the kids to do there, because they always have games for the kids”, said Brooks. “The 4-H Center as well as the women from Farm Bureau, always do a great job with that corner.”
According to Brooks, all the vendor spaces for the event have been filled. She also suggests arriving early to snag a good parking place.
“At nine o clock you will not be able to come on to the downtown square in your vehicle. There are plenty of places to park including behind the courthouse, behind the Samuel Elbert Hotel, the city parking lot behind McIntosh Coffee, and of course you have First Baptist Church”, said Brooks.
The Granite City Fall Festival will start at 9:00am tomorrow, and will run up until 4:00pm. 105.3 WSGC will also be live on location from 9:00am until noon to bring you all the sights and sounds of this year’s festival.
